Established interiors department including resource library, FF&E schedule standards, specifying documentation, as well as relationships with reps and furniture dealers.  Developed and presented pitches, concepts, and designs alongside firm principal.  Projects included various residential renovations, commercial renovations and furniture selection, as well as architectural finishes & space planning consultation for developers, art selection, renderings & contract document production, and furniture design.
Projects for Claremont McKenna College included:

  •       Interior renovation, design, & decoration for college-owned historical home
  •       Renovation of 7000SF building housing Dean Of Students and Global Education departments
  •       FF&E for dorm lounges and study rooms
  •       Cafeteria dining room and servery redesign (currently in design development)
  •       Interior renovation of 4 floor administrative building (currently working on CDs)

Participated in projects from pitch through punch-list. Designed trading floors, executive offices, base building corridors, elevator lobbies, and reception areas. Specialized in management of particularly sensitive clients, proselytized new exciting materials to colleagues, and mentored newer designers.  Work included:

  •       Rabobank-  NJ training facility, IT and back office floors, NYC HQ multi-floor redesign
  •       Havana Club Miami- part of core design team on 15,000SF private cigar & nightclub
  •       Macklowe Properties- provided base building design work for residential properties, redesigned executive offices
  •       Tishman Speyer- developed design standards for pre-builts in several buildings, worked with tenants on build-to-suit projects, created test-fits and sample layouts
  •       Apogee South Beach - extensive renovation of 4200 SF condo for very hands-on client
